As Douglas Laing’s mighty mouse searches the globe to find the ultimate flavour profile to be paired with cheese, this latest release sees our classic Highland Malt carefully finished over several months in the finest, and indeed sweetest, Port casks, releasing a new depth of character to our already sublime spirit. Perfectly paired with Stilton Blue Cheese.
The spirit from our friends at Glen Garioch brings a creamy, fragrant heather, intertwined with fruity sweet banana and pear. Dalmore brings roasted coffee beans, Seville marmalade, and winter spiced fruitcake. Glengoyne adds a lemon zestiness, toffee apple, and a hint of coconut. And then there is a supply of our own spirit, from Strathearn Distillery, which brings an oak spice, caramelised hazelnut, vanilla, sultana, and cinnamon.
